Bringing the noble message of Service to humanity is service to God into reality, a golden confluence of spirituality and social responsibility was witnessed yesterday, Sunday, May 24th, at the Shri Swami Samarth Math located at Apta Phata. The presence of all the enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers from Glimpse Of Divinity and Seva Bharti filled the entire Math premises with a distinct energy and profound contentment throughout the day. Upon arriving at the Math, the volunteers performed the Padya Puja (worship of the holy feet) of Shri Swami Samarth with deep devotion. As these dedicated souls bowed at Swami's feet to seek his blessings, a divine tranquility enveloped the entire atmosphere. Anchored by this spiritual energy, the social service initiative commenced. Following their darshan at the Math, the volunteers of these organizations ventured into the remote tribal hamlets (tribal padas) nearby to extend a helping hand directly to the needy. Under this initiative: Educational Kits: To ensure that the education of children in the tribal areas continues uninterrupted, they were distributed essential educational materials and notebooks. The joy and admiration in the children's eyes was truly a sight to behold. Raincoats: Keeping the upcoming monsoon season in mind, high-quality raincoats were provided to these little ones so that the rain does not become an obstacle on their way to school. Bicycles: Understanding the plight of needy girls who have to walk miles just to get an education, bicycles were distributed to them. This initiative will surely accelerate their education and boost their self-confidence. When the two eyes of spirituality and social consciousness came together, everyone present experienced deep inner satisfaction. This act of reaching out to the underprivileged sections of society and bringing smiles to their faces is truly commendable. The arrival of these volunteers brought supreme bliss (Paramanand) to everyone at the Math, and we all thoroughly cherished this beautiful, day-long initiative. On behalf of the Shri Swami Samarth Math, we express our heartfelt gratitude to all the colleagues, donors, and volunteers of Glimpse Of Divinity and Seva Bharti.
